    StageTwo It's a Beauty Too.

Check your local news stands for Hemmings' Muscle Machines magazine. The premier issue (October 2003) is in my hands and it's a great read--lots of great pics too! No Buicks in it, but a nice mix of cars, so I wouldn't be suprised to see a Buick or two in future issues. Oh yeah, it's a monthly publication too!

I liked it too! I signed up on their website for the first issue free. After reading it I became a subscriber. I particularly liked the '72 W-30 article, and the 67 Mopar, and......

    Buickwagon Wagon's Rule!

There's at least one Buick in it! I'm not sure which page but it's the article on insurance for older cars. There's a nice color picture of my '70 Sportwagon (primer and all) leaving on a newer Mustang. Picture was taken back in July at a weekly street night at Lebanon Valley Dragway here in NY.

The guys from Hemmings were actually at the track last night taking pictures and looking for feature cars - heck, Hemmings' main office in just over the border in Vermont which is a short drive to the track. Anyway, they plan on doing a feature on the wagon in an upcoming issue. We just need to set up a time where they can take some still shots of the car - they said they got all the action shots they needed!

I'll let everyone know which issue it's in. It seems like it's going to be a decent magazine. Talking with one of the writers last night, he seemed to hint that the magazine is geared more for guys that get out and drive their cars regularly - not the trailer queens or full show cars, more the driver's people's kind of cars. Should be interesting.

By the way, it's fun dusting the kids in the Mustangs, Camaros, etc. - especially in front of all their friends.
