erik- that sucks bad! that is why i carry a fire extinguisher in my call all the time. u never know when u might need to use it on your car or someone else's vehicle.
Glad to hear that some parts of the car were saved! PLUS the heart (engine) went to a new home, you should find out who bought the engine and keep track of the engine swap... I find this stuff all pretty interesting, the trials and tribulations of these precious vehicles. I have a feeling that the big old Buick might do well against the other cars in the "banger" event... I agree about the v6, might not move quick without a 5.89 gear LOL!
Erik, Good luck. It has to be tough to be into Buicks when the source of everything and another car is so far away. Good luck to the man in the land of windmills and Tulips.
sorry to hear of your loss . in the future will you be BAD land yacht!! when you get the electra. Are you looking for the car in the states or where you are, marty
What about this one, Erik? http://suchen.mobile.de/auto-insera...rationDate=1985-12-31&negativeFeatures=EXPORT I trust you spotted it as well? Cheers Patrick
Peoria Il. isnt to terribly far from chicago. Somebody should be way closer than I am. I would just like to try to help because of what happened to the riv. I would try to find a member instead of an agency for multiple reasons. For the price for agency, I'm thinking you could have somebody from chicago area drive down and fully document it for you.
Do you suppose an auto appraiser would offer such a service? While it may be outside their normal scope of business, an independent appraiser may work with you on it.
I see them on KSL.com now and then. Here is a 2 dr coupe that is in my town and I could look it over for you. http://www.ksl.com/auto/listing/10408608
Thanks for reminding me to GO OUT AND GET A FIRE EXTINGUISHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not putting the battiery in the car until I do
Quote...1975 model year (biggest Buick/biggest GM hardtop sedan ever built) Cadillacs were bigger at 233.7 Buick 233.3..................Cadillac Tailisman was top dog on length (except limo's) and luxury. http://automotivemileposts.com/cadillac/cadi1974fleetwoodtalisman.html
You know what they say about guy's who want cars that big, they fall short in other area's, sorry about your luck, maybe a better username would be itty bitty boat tail. I will take my common Riviera thanks.:moonu:
Going By the list of competitors He will most likely get more than one race  I think most of those cars will be trashed if they even get close to the BUICK:3gears: Get a vid of the derby if You can to post:kodak:
