Been away for awhile but I thought I would post a new best for me and my Bee.

I had not run it since February and it felt good to get it out to the track again.

Went down to Moroso Motorsports Park on Sunday there Mopar day.

Da' Results.. I equalled my all time best ET in the Bee at 13.76 @ 100.33 MPH (a best MPH for the Bee!!) Not a bad run for a 383 in a tank! :TU:

The only bad part of the day was it was my only run of the day as track time was at a mininum. I got so disgusted( nearly 4:00pm an no 1st round classes had even been called to the lanes and I had been there since 8:30 AM) I went home. Needless to say that will be my last venture to Moroso!

Oh well I still get to change my signiture!

    Thanks Donny! I apprecaiate it!

I have 2 things I want to try this winter..

    1. 4:30 gears. It was going through the traps at 5400rpm and I shift at 5700rpm so there might be a little more in that swap.

    2. New set of tires. The F70-14 are old (about 7 years) and the tread is getting a little thin on them. Maybe it will help my 60 foot some. (2.06 on my one pass on sunday)

I don't know what the track conditions were, but 2.06 is pretty good.

Out of 136 cars, only 19 managed a sub-2.00 time during the Pure Stock shootouts

Way to go Andy! I have a couple of questions for you. 1)How much does the big Bee weigh? and 2) What size tire/type of tire are you running? Keep it up! We would love to see you at Stanton! :bglasses:

Thanks for the compliments everyone. Little accomplishments like this make it worth it for me. Especially when you live in a state where you could count on one hand the number of Factory Stockers. Additionally down here when you try and explain what a Factory Stocker is the answer your most likely to get is nothing but a blank stare!

    To answer your questions
The Bee weighed 4050lbs with me in it when I pulled it accross the scales in at the Y.O. Experience in Atlanta 2005. (I weigh 200 lbs)

The tires are F70-14 polyglas's and the best 60ft I have eve done with them is a 2.01 also at Atlanta 2005

Believe me I really want to get up to Stanton with the car and meet up with you guys but it just wasn't feasible this past year. I guess if I do show up I would be probabily be the only or one of the few running a 383 in a B-Body. Let see if I can get this done this year. I have gained alot of knowledge tweaking on this car that I would like to try on a another combo someday. (440 4bbl GTX or R/T come to mind) Anyone run one of these at Stanton?

Dave and Rob thanks for the compliment. I remember the fun I had hanging out with you guys at Atlanta.
    How are your cars running?

Andy, good to hear from you and the BEE, sounds like you made some progress. Are any tracks open in January? I may be in the area with a car to play with next month.

    Hi Steve,

Yes there are tracks open in January down here. Orlando Speedworld is the closest to me and Chris Teed. There schedule for January are just test and tune days on Wenesday's and Friday evenings but it is a place to go nonetheless. There website is http://www.speedworlddragway.com

When in January and what part of Florida will you be in? Near Melbourne?

Hey Chris let me know when your going to the track so we can get the cars out for some exercise!

ORL and WPB are both slip and slide tracks... if you want to run good, go to Bradenton.
