    Hi guys,
Here is a couple of pictures of a Buick at a show today. I'm not sure of the year or model that it is or "was". What's your opinions? Love it or hate it?

LowFlyLark Time for a mild custom.

Most of the mods I love. The open wheel cover should have been left closed. The top is too high in the front but I love the rear window. I also love the bumper mods.

Overall it's tickles my desire to see in up close.

If I saw that at a show, I would keep walking.
That kind of custom work is for Chevys and Fords

A little over done for my taste, but you have to love the effort.

I really like it, you can see that this was not a cheap & easy conversion :TU:

A lot of thought and hard work went into that car. Color is very cool!

I would have the rear wheel well opened up and a full dressed nail (fuel injected?) under the hood. Other than that, nice car!

You have an impeccable eye for form. I totally agree with your assessment though I am not sure I could have picked them out the way you did. I have seen this car and it is amazingly done but IMHO the owner fell for the "me too" bug and added a few too many bobbles at the end of the project. If i remember, the interior is pretty amazing too. You can still easily tell it is/was a 57 Buick. We are prejudiced with regard to the Buick powerplant, but I agree with that opinion too, though I might be just as happy seeing a 455 in it.

I like it except for the open skirts, engine and top. A little more chop in the front would have looked more proportional.

If it saved a Buick from going to the crusher, I'm good with it.

Love to see others thinking out of the box and doing mods like this but everyone has different tastes. I myself do not like the rear wheel opening either, covers the wheels, no point in custom wheels if your going to hide them. I would have changed the shape of the rear wheel well to make it longer like the front so it almost reaches the rear bumper. The one thing that bothers me the most is the quality of the work done which i like and how poorly the radiator mounts look and fabricated, just seems rushed when compared to the rest of the car. Chevy V-8?? Cheap, common place and easily overlooked. I have made my opinions known already in other posts of what i think of Chevy V-8's and common place cars, seems folks were not pleased so my comment of easily overlooked is how i will leave it.

I like how the roof line rakes back, how the bumpers were set into the body on the sides, nice job on the trim, nice pin striping.
