    1968 Chevy Belair

    fuel: gas
    title status: rebuilt
    transmission: automatic

You are looking at a 1968 Chevy Belair with a 327, an automatic transmission and power steering. This car was wrecked in 1968 and was transformed into a very unique vehicle. Bill Foly of Idaho City built the car who worked at a fabrication shop. The car was known as the Idaho City Mountain car. He used it to haul a camp trailer to Arizona in the winter. The car has been in Idaho City most of it's life, sitting on Main Street. This car is either a rat rod or a burning man vehicle. It runs real good and you could drive it anywhere. This is some local history here. Very funky automobile.

It needs a 900hp ls under the hood. Then I would roll it and put a rear view camera so I could see the faces of the unsuspecting.

I think it was a 9th grade Metalworking class project. When a kid learns to spotweld, well, it's all right angles ..... from a homemade toolbox to .... this.

...Would someone please put that thing out of its misery and blow it up or crush it?
What kind of glue was the builder sniffing when he came up with this?

    transmission: automatic

A bit Rat Rod, a bit Mad Max. Turns heads everywhere. This quirky ride is a one-off, hand-built custom. Street legal. MA titled as a 2012 "Custom". Started life as a 1977 Pontiac Grand Prix, and transformed over the years into a shortened, lightened, 2-door, 2-seater sports car.
Pontiac 400 c.i. V8 bored .030 over. Auto trans. Functional roof scoop (radiator in the back). Too many other details to list here.
    Named: "The Arachnid"
Reliable and well-maintained, no rust anywhere, always garage stored. I've had my fun with it. Time to move on to other projects and clear up the garage space.
