92% 18 miles. I totally flubbed vermont and Colorado. CO was my 1st piece, too. Very hard to hit the right spot in the middle on the 1st try.
Got 86%....43 perfect......average of 19 miles. Really only had one bad one early on.......Iowa. Little too southwest. Arkansas was my 1st.....just about nailed it.
78% - but a few were off by so little it shouldn't have mattered. Besides, I got all the "important" states, lol.
I got 90% and avg within 8 miles with 45 perfect. I got robbed on 4 of the five I missed. I let the mouse button go with the state positioned perfectly, and the state jumped over a little bit to give me an error. Dammit.
88%, 33 miles. Heh heh, all those years riding tour busses, I shoulda done better. My first state was Wyoming, a tough drop. I did good with New Jersey, ou: though.
94%, 4 miles, 227secs... 'course im a nerd and have known all the states and where they go since like 2nd grade...
Like trying to keep inside the lines in a kids coloring book. Rediculous excercise. No way any of you guys got the middle states perfest without having the coastal states first. Now be honest! You cannot get Kansas "perfect" first!
I blew Kansas by about 12 miles (about 18 kms!) but I'm rationalizing that error with the excuse that I'm working on an old IBM thinkpad with the bloody red button in the middle of the keyboard that pretends it's a mouse...was averaging about 8% error until I got hung up on R.I. :grin:
