    1963 Pontiac Bonneville Superior ambulance - $4,500.00 - Moose Jaw, SK S6H1X8

1 of 70 consort style ambulances built in 63. 389 has been refreshed, new timing chain cam, resealed.

Interior professionally redone. New tires. All new front suspension and steering.

Disc brakes conversion started. $13000 invested sacrifice for $4500.

Not currently running. Lots left to do but tons of work has been done.

Great deal on a unique car. Has original emergency lights and sirens as well as stretcher and gurney.

The Kennedy family disputes this. According to them, they purchased the actual ambulance that transported JFK's body and had it crushed. They did so for just this reason; they didn't want it to become a collector's item. If the Kennedy family is to be believed (and I have no reason not to believe them) The Barrett-Jackson Pontiac ambulance is almost certainly one of the fleet that the military purchased, but not the one that transported JFK.
