A little muffler help

    I wonder what material the mufflers are made out of. Cold roll steel will rust very quickly. Hopefully, Stainless steel.

    That's good. Stainless is the only way to go.

    I second that. With the M/T Headers the Walker Dynomax muffs are outstanding. Like a quiet, sleeping child at speed but like an angry, screaming Karen at a crowded McDonalds when you hammer it.

    Unbelievable. Is that normal? My Dynomax's looked NOTHING like that when I got them.

    I wonder if they are out sourced to different manufactures?

    I just found out that 409 stainless steel is magnetic.
    I've worked a lot of stainless alloys, not 409. All 400 series stainless steels are magnetic.
    300 series are not magnetic, but are Non-corrosive and polish up to a mirror finish. Vet

    Just remember they may be stainless case but some of them are not stainless internally.
