No doubt. I am planning 20's on my 69 Riv, hopefully by summer. In the process of adding 14" discs to the front to help out the stopping and the looks.
Most likely, if I can fit a 10" in the rear I will stagger them. Have not gotten to the measurements I need, yet. Still trying to get the engine back together and back in the car. The exhaust will be a little challenging to fit but I will see when I get closer to that point.
Perceys wheel rite tool will help you get the exact backspacing and tire size you need for a 10 or 11 inch wheel. If your gonna do it you will want to be happy after its done:idea2:
Yeah I agree with you there. I have my own measuring tool that I have used successfully several times. A piece of angle iron bolted to the wheel stud with a piece of all-thread the width of the tire does great, essentially the same idea behind Percy's.
haha... no worries. I thought it was better paying a few dollars in materials for something that does the same as their $70 tool.
Bump for a cool thread! I am loving the look 15x10 wheel on the back, excited to get my car painted and show off the new wheels and tires!:3gears:
