Nice setup. What did you have to do to fit these tires under there? Any rubbing?
    Got any up close pics?

The rears were pretty easy compared to the front. Just measured the wheel well widths and their distance to the axle mounting flanges (several times) and averaged to the smallest opening. When I put the new front suspension in I pre-assembled it without the spring, so it would be easier to run the suspension in bump, while I did the measuring with a Wheelrite tool. So far I have only had one rub, on the front, but that was at full steering lock and hitting a bump getting into a parking lot too fast.

:Smarty: Let the class begin. I seen your Buick, and that's the stance and wheel widths I desire. Davisca, your suspension setup with pics instructions/pitfalls would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

Here's my 67 skylark. 17x7 front rims with 205/50vr17 Riken Raptors and 17x8 rears with 255/45vr17 Hankook Ventus II's. The rims are Eagle Alloy knockoffs of the AR torq thrusts ( MUCH cheaper!!). I beileve the backspacing is 4 inch in the front and 4.5 in the rear. As a side note, I'm running a 1981 Cutlass rearend, because it's 4 inches narrower and allows me to run a more common offset rim than the stock rear.

Killer combo... do you think you could of fit the wheels without the rearend?

not without a custom offset. my car came with 14x6 pizza cutters. The rear fenderwells will allow a 10 inch wide wheel, but the offset for a rim would have to be like 6.5 inches to keep it in the fenderwell. I've seen some nice cars on here with big wheel and tire combos on 64-67 a-bodies, even 20 inch wheels, but the massaging of body panels and backspacing issues can get pretty expensive.
