Ted The issue is that I do not know if these cars are for sale and if so are we looking at unreasonable prices. I would certainly have interest in them in the $1000 to $1500 range but I'll bet that he wants $10,000 for the 41 60S and similar prices for the others. Probably is looking for $10,000 + for the Cadillac convertible.
Well, he bought the '41 Cadillac from me about 16 years ago. It was running and driving then and in better shape. He let it sit out in the weather for most of that time and he paid 2500. and a couple of cars in trade. I'm thinking that he would take less for that Cadillac now. I plan to find out just how much he will let them go for.
I have a 1949 Cadillac convertible project that I may sell. We have a deal in the works on buying this place with all of the cars. The '55 may be for sale as well afterwards.
thanks. Had a chance to buy one many years ago, but couldn't come up with anything near what he was asking.
Which body style ? There is not a lot of difference between 48 ans 49. The instrument panel and grille are the biggest difference. 48 was the last year for the flathead V8 with 49 getting the OHV 331 engine.
I had a 37 lincoln zephyr in my garage when I bought the place. it was a coupe sedan one of 1500 made had v12 rebuilt sold it to some swedes in 05 needed cosmetic work and put back together no rust holes at all ive still got a repair manual from 41 they were nice cars. the roadsters are worth big bucks 4 doors not so much
