    Any recommendations?

I’ve talked to Quadrajetpower.com who is about 20 weeks out. And TA said they’re about 3 months with their third party vendor.

Contact tech eight here on the board. Every day performance out of Connecticut has a great reputation for Quadra jet restoration.

Rob Ross here on the board will set you up with a quality rebuild that you'll be able to unbox, bolt on and go.

Best part is it won't take 20 weeks and you won't have to send it back to him numerous times.

I can vouch for Everyday, Ken is a very talented builder and tuner.. However, be realistic in your expectation of the results.. if your car isnt leaking or falling on it's face with no throttle response , the carb rebuild may be the final piece of the tuning process. Make sure you fully understand your ignition system and are sure it's 100% - initial timing/total timing/degrees of vacuum advance and when all the timing action occurs on the curve. Wire resistance, plug condition, etc.. Know your compression #'s, and valvespring condition. Too many guys on this forum thinking a carb rebuild is the magic bullet, the get all salty when it doesnt cure the real problem on their car. And if your sure all those things are good, recognize any builder can only get the carb CLOSE to optimal, they dont have your car in front of them and when you get down to dyno numbers its YOUR responsibility to understand the final tuning processes to optimize that carb on your car, in the current atmospheric conditions. I've seen too many idiots on this forum badmouthing carb builders when they cant even answer basic questions about current configuration their own car.

Define "restoration". Does this include re-plating the parts to gain as-new cosmetics? Do you expect the fuel curve to be changed--or do you want it "exactly" the way that GM intended?
