Tough to say, have you seen the car? I would never jump at a car I have not seen in person... How about this? https://cars.trovit.com/listing/reduced-1972-buick-lesabre-2dr-56k-original-miles._1y1N181i17jT
You, of course are correct. 1974 engines were painted Buick Red. 1975 was a medium metallic blue and 76 and up were GM powder blue.
thats it. the one picture is not it. he said he had the paint to paint it back like that. which i want it the seafoam green a 72 had so im going to tell him to keep his paint or resell it. car looks pretty solid but idk seems kinda pricey for one needing painting. however ive only found that one in my searches.
that is perfect. idk how to contact someone on that site? i see no phone or anything. ive tried everything i can to send a message. its on autozin.com. ive had no luck.
ive tried and tried it does nothing when i click it could be the work computer. i couldnt get my phone to though either. if you can get him in contact with me. ill get you my number. ill try at moms on her computer could be some filter here at work if not.
Here is the link at autozin: https://www.autozin.com/for-sale/buick-lesabre#carid=2825877 I would use google chrome to visit it. The web page seems a bit picky. You should be able to message the seller from there?
yeah im guessing its a old posting or something. idk im going to give it a few days though. if not ill just continue searching. i feel the one in michigan is just a little to steep for what it is. it would suffice but looking at 6 plus for a car that needs a repaint. probably why it hasnt sold tbh. that 71 in ohio sold in 4 hours though. i still may buy the one in michigan though just because its eating at me looking out there and not seeing it in the driveway. almost like losing a good friend.
i did at 5k, he told me he had 6k in it. came down to 8. i think i could prob get it 6000 -7k. he said its super solid and runs perfect. im fine with painting one as im sure i want to paint it green like my old one. just not sure i want to sink that much in one needing that much work.
i cant even to get it to do that ive looked on other media in the area to see if it was for sale there as well and nothing. if it had the license plate i could find him lol. i do appreciate all the effort.
i found another 71 on facebook today but it has some bubbling under the vinyl top and needs one floor pan patched. they are asking 7k.
guy in mi is firm at 8k. i offered 6500 max. ima pass at that price. car is just not worth that much.
dude way to steep in ohio as well. these guys are asking more for these cars than a skylark. said 6500 is his bottom. it needs a total repaint and a floor pan patched. not that im scared of fixing that but not at that price.
The right one at the right price will come along. We're all looking now. I wouldn't pay Skylark $ for a LeSabre.
