When I bought my old 69 C10 it had that same gas pedal and a probably 13inch max chromed chain steering wheel.

I’ve Always thought the feet were cool, my uncle had them in a 73 Charger I remember as a kid!
I haven’t read the whole thread, but are you going to rock some sidepipes ? That to me would be the number one day 2 look.
Anyway, great build, and I can’t wait to see it in person. I’m just as jealous as the rest!

No side pipes but I do have some very cool chrome Super Scavenger Headers with 3"pipes going all the way back and out of a custom made N25 1970 Bumper.

Rich It was really great to meet you and please excuse me for not staying and talking longer. I was in my 100% squirrel mode with looking and talking to everyone. I was on my way to see Jerry about some wheels and I called and could see him and would be right over. Told Jerry I would walk right over. I know Jerry thought I was nuts because I saw Troy from the board and started talking and looking at parts he had. Never thought I would get over to where Jerry was. It was so good to see everyone and meet people from the board for the first time. I was really happy about seeing old friends that were at the Nationals as well. It was just a lot to take in for a squirrel like me lol hahaha

Dropped off the GSX at the body shop last week after taking out the dash and most of the interior. I am excited to see it get some well needed love.

I also received the rest of the new interior from Legendary after about a 10 month wait but that was not a big deal as I was in no hurry being the car is no where close to needing the interior put in it yet.

Thanks to John Chamberlin for providing me a extremely nice front bumper at the Nationals. I also bought a NOS C118 Kenne bell cam for the engine and Don Hutson provided me a very nice chrome front hoodbar as well.

I hope you’re taking this time of the body being in the body shop to detail and assemble the frame… and get the seats recovered… and refurbish the little things!!! That way, it’s just assembly when the body comes home!!!

Frame is being blasted clean in the morning and plan is to paint it this Friday or Saturday. I have done some detail work on little things. Hood Tach is done, 24hr clock is done, gauges are calibrated, Seatbelts are restored, etc etc. Need to have the seats recovered. I did receive my entire order from Legendary interiors so I do have the parts ready.
