The kick panel is back in, complete with new cables, carpet, a coat of SEM laundau black and (now) a functional upper vent. This project sucked. Thankfully, Cook and Dave Johnson were a phone call/text away. I had to walk away from it yesterday before I lit the car on fire. I'll likely do the passenger side down the road but it works fine now. And Adam was right: my seat belt retractors were on the wrong sides. I remedied that this morning as well, along with some lithium grease for the emergency brake mechanism.
Saturday was funny. Brett's working on his kick panels and I was torturing myself putting the dash back in the Corvette. We both wanted to pour gas on them and light a match. Sometimes I wish I collected stamps instead
