It's an investment for some people. Some owners enjoy just showing them to win awards and accolades. We all have our reasons for buying and owning classic cars. I tell people all the time that I see a lot of buyers buying when the stock market starts going down. Kind of makes me think they want something tangible and not just a piece of paper saying they own stock. Just my opinion and observation.
To each their own. Everyone has their own motivation. Could be personal enjoyment, could be financial gain, could be to keep up with the jones'.
Because it’s a free country and I can do whatever the heck I want with my cars even if it isn’t what others would do with them. For the record everything gets driven at least a little bit. Some I like to drive regularly, others I just like to look at and drive very little.
A guy once told me I bought a piece of furniture referring to my Z06, because I only have 10k miles on it. Can't drive em all at the same time.... Michigan summers aren't that long. Good boating is only 3 months long....
Yep, and you can throw that mid life bs out the window. Guys have always done the same buying / selling all their lives....
