I'm preparing to upgrade the fuel line on my 72 to support the dominator carb. I'm running it from the stock tank to the carb. Any plumbing or routing issues I should be aware of?

    Thanks

I'm getting ready to do the same but the chassis is off the frame. I selected stainless line because it doesn't absorb heat as quickly as other metals. Extra protection near tires (rocks/debris) & exhaust couldn't hurt.

I used push lok hose and ran it through the frame. I have a word document that Jim Weise sent me. I have attached a pdf of that document to this post.

Does the 1/2" line lose its benefits of it comes from the fuel pump only or does it need to come directly from the fuel tank? I ask because the stock tank involves a 90 degree turn I can't do with the twist lock line.

    Thanks

Between tank and pump is 1/2". All you need between the pump and carburetor is 3/8". That is what I have. Not sure why you need a 90* turn at the tank, but even if you did, just use a 90* fitting. I am using the Robb Mc pickup. I had him put -8 AN fittings on both lines. Hooked up my hose to that, and ran it to that hole in the frame, up the frame to the pump. It's all pictured in the pdf I attached to my last post.
