Has anyone here(Buick fans),paid attention to what AMD sheetmetal has done for the Mopar crowd?It is simply amazing to say the least,they have made full OEM 1/4's,fenders,one piece trunk floors,roof skins,cowls,and the list goes on.I have seen their products in person,and know plenty so far that have used their parts,and only good has been said!!!! They do items for even one year only cars,so parts for 70-72 skylark and gs would share for three years.How nice would it be to see these parts,panels made for Buicks? Items that would be real nice and much needed,rear outers,full 1/4's,fenders,core supports,inner front fenders,and the rear deck (dutch panel)panel.Since they have made numerous hoods for the Mopars,including shaker hoods for cudas and challengers,how amazing would it be if they made a 70-72 GS hood????? As I also am in the Mopar hobby,and have a few of them,I avidly go to Chryslers at Carlisle every year since 96,and I can tell you I've seen the parts dry up as well as get out of control for prices on body parts,NOS,good used,and even rotted crap!!!!On top of some of the Mopars jumping up in price like realestate,the ones sitting on NOS sheetmetal were starting to ask crack-head prices for it,this in turn was noticed by some of the repo companys as they are at the event.Two years ago AMD took the place by storm on a suprise showing off what they have done with making Mopar sheetmetal. I also can tell you that after collecting NOS Buick sheetmetal for my 70,I see available,way more NOS parts for the 70-72 skylark GS,some at what you would expect prices for a 40 yr old musclecar,but others,thinking they have gold also.Some will pay these prices,if you are restoring a high end car,but most others do not or will not spend the money.It would be great if AMD jumped into the Buick sheetmetal to keep it alive and growing,and see more cars restored and brought back to life,and give the average guy the opportunity to join in!!!
