    I believe it is from a 69 model riv with a 430. If so all came with auto trans. Not all Q jets follow the convention that carbs ending in an odd number were from manual trans cars just like not all that ended in an even number were from auto trans cars.

    Refering to the "1" on Q-jets, if the carb number starts with a "1" (170xxxxx), that will denote an "emissions" calibrated carb starting 1975, possibly 1974 for California. If your question is about the ending "1", I'd have to do some research as it has been near 30 years since carb class! Jay
