This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. The whole car is amazing!
My 46 Super was like this, well, not quite as nice, but close. There's something about a totally original car that a restoration can never duplicate.
This one is worth every penny to a serious collector.

The only thing that could make that one better would be a soft top and sidemounts

Why does it say “Eight Eight” on the front of the hood? Shouldn’t it say “Buick Eight” like the rest of the car?

Good catch, absolutely should say Buick on the right side. That reminds me of a time a friend worked feverishly getting his Volvo ready for an AACA national meet not stopping until they loaded it to get to the meet with no time to spare, as he was sitting relaxing right before the judges came he saw on the back he had put the letters on wrong and it said OVLOV, luckily he had time to make the change

Had a customer at the Sunoco I worked at as a kid that drove a 66 Chreslyr Newport.

Agreed on the BUICK (right) EIGHT (left). It's still an amazing car and one of the rare ones that is probably worth the asking price.
