Seems like a heck of a deal at least as a parts car.

Ya, sounds and looks like a complete car.

If you don't have to transport it a long distance it's definitely worth the parts.

I'm about 20 minutes away, but do I want another parts car??? I guess so if the price is right. Wonder if there's a lot of guys here that are looking for some '58 parts?

Probably not much on this board, but ebay is great for 58 stuff.

Assuming that the body panels are still good and only the floors are gone...

If I had another rolling frame, I wouldn't mind welding in new floors, ripping out/ replacing the interior and making it road legal again.

I could ebay the parts, we'll see. I guess the left rocker and bottom of the fender are a little rotted. Passenger side is still solid. Might go look at her today.

This one has been posted around here(Milwaukee) for a month or two.
I too thought of replacing the floors and what not and trying to make it a driver since restoring would be beyond my capabilities.
Maybe throw that body on a late 80s wagon frame or something.:idea2:

From the description, the interior is completely trashed from mice. If mice were in the interior, I guarantee they made nests in every other part of that car. Rockers will be rusted through on both sides, as well as the floor and trunk pan braces. (Ask me how I know! ) I don't think I would try to save that one if I bought it.

    Even though it's a 4 door, it's still a cool looking car!
