It's a 4 door sedan and has a lot of the chrome either painted or powder coated.

I helped a member buy a just as clean 2 door hardtop with none of the weirdness a year or two ago for his dad for $8,000. That car was a good deal. I'll see if I can find a link.

Boy, I thought the value of these was much higher ! I realize the chrome is costly to redo etc, but I thought these still bring upper teens in this shape. The interior is pretty clean.

Yeah, to be fair the one Oliver bought was a LeSabre, but they look similar in equipment to me. A guy that looks everyday like you and I do sees so many cars for sale, it's easy to get a warped sense of what they're worth. If a guy pays attention to the ones that sell, he can see what the real values are. Check back in a month and I bet that Electra is still for sale. If it was 3-4k it'd probably go. Still a cool car though.
