If the body is as good as it looks, I think that price is not bad. I have no idea how hard it would be to get an interior for it though. Looks like that dealer got that thing in trade and wants to be rid of it ASAP.
Thinking the same as Walter. Probably a good deal if not rusty but I can't imagine what the interior would cost if you could even find it. Good news though. If you get there and don't like the Invicta, it's Truck Month at the dealership.
There was a time a long time ago where I would have killed for that car, it was one of my bucket list cars. It looks like a good deal; - but, the interior stuff is going to be a challenge to source. At that price though it'll make a fine resto project.
Totally agree on the interior situation. It would take some major sleuthing to get the parts for the door panels alone.
'59-60 GM front door inners are the same; so you can get the 'cardboards' readily. Surprisingly to me, the Invicta door panel would actually be easier to replicate, but the LeSabre has a cool, huge embossed 'LeSabre' script in the vinyl that would be impossible to accurately replicate. It may be the largest interior nameplate ever (hard to see but behind the steering wheel)
OK V8 Buick People: The interior is EZ-PZ. SMS has it all for about $2,500. The upholstery shop's labor? I'm guessin' another 4 grand. The door panels can be put together by a decent upholstery shop without waiting for them to be made. They made me the pleated vinyl in red in a few weeks. I guess it helps that I know Doug the owner.
