1960s Buick Skylark Tachometer

I have just modified the housing to fit in the console/consolette cup in the Skylarks. Have showna poic of what it looks like in the cup. You will NOT be getting the cup. Been tested working. Looking for 375 USD. I am in Ontario Canada and have PayPal.

Is there a part number on the tach that I could check for the year .jim

 

Hi Jim. I see a faded out # on the casing which ends in 4964. Dont know why this is relevent. We already know the casing and lens have been knotched out and fit in the Skylarks . You have seen the pics. My guess the tach was originally from a Wildcat console or a kneeknocker. Now if you were taking it to a judge show and they wanted numbers matching parts they certainly wouldn't be pulling your console apart to look.

Hi we have a 65skylark gs and were told the faces are different,65-66are the ones that are the same .redline or something haven't seen another to tell ???

 

Looked at a few of these tachs over the years. The 7000 rpm one is certainly different. The 6000 rpm ones I have seen look the same. Maybe I haven't seen enough of them.
