Nice pristine original car. Personally I think it's priced lower than what the market would bring. From what I have seen lately that should be a $30,000-$35,000 car all day long. Keith
Here you go Mart - Already done & even Buick powered: https://orangecounty.craigslist.org/cto/d/costa-mesa-1962-buick-skylark-gasser/7298417757.html
Prices on the 61-63 Y body cars is all over the place. Basically from what I've seen the average to nice, decent cars struggle to get $10-$15 grand. On the other hand the really nice pristine ones are bringing $25-$40 grand. A really nice beautiful red one just sold for $25 grand! A few years ago a really pristine 63 skylark convertible sold for around $40 grand. Keith
I think you nailed it with respect to the really nice ones. 3 recent excellently restored examples of NOM '70 GS's brought very good $. Good quality cars will command that premium (cap't obvious). I'd love to have @tntlark 's '64 4-sp. Skylark and don't think it's unreasonably priced for what it is despite '64 being a kinda in between year.
I think these cars are cool but why are they so expensive. I don't need one this nice but people still want 8 grand for a driver.
I had one of these back in 2007 thru 2010, it was a 1962 Buick Special Deluxe. I just bought another "Y" Body in the form of a 1963 Oldsmobile F-85 Deluxe.
