I don’t know what this part fits, but the part number seems to indicate 1965 Skylark. I received it with other parts so do not know it’s origin. Price is $20.00 shipped to the lower 48 states. Part is mostly free.

Might be very early 64. This style was found to have issues and Replaced with a long tube setup very much like a later BBB piece. The cup and threaded rod section and the pointy threaded rod are same as a 65 Skylark (NOT GS), but for the piece shown I believe the other half of the pivoting shaft may be missing.

If your parts included a 65 Skylark throw out fork, I would be interested.

My 65 Special came with that style Z bar, but mine was welded. The socket with the slot takes a ball on a shaft that has a 1/4" pin through it, it's designed to swivel and prevent bind-up under hard acceleration. My 64 Special came with a solid tube Z bar which was fine with the 300, when I put a 340 in it and banged 2nd gear the Z bar would bind and the clutch pedal would stick to the floor. The ball-and socket style typically fails due to the socket splitting.

So no one wants this piece of Buick history? I hate to throw it out, but I will never use it
