    Hello,

    I have a 64 buick Electra with a 401 Nailhead and 400 trans.

I just finished a 6 month rebuild and put the engine and trans back in the car.

Here is the problem: I can't find and spec's or instruction on how to set up the switch pitch parts at the carb for the transmission.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks

If that's the original tranny, it's not a SP..........the switch on the throttle is a kickdown switch. :bglasses:

    Trans

    It is the original trans.

Can you tell me were the wires are supposed to go.

I took pictures before I disassembly put did not get a good pic of that wiring.

Shouldn't be too hard to figure out. The kickdown simply requires 12 volts to the vertical tang on the drivers side of the trans. So one side of the switch has 12 volts with the ignition on, the other side goes to the trans.
