1965 300 2 bbl

Anyone know of where I can get a good reman ? Like to keep stock if possible . Thanks

Just get a rebuild kit for the one you have.

There's people out there who can restore it to like new condition. They replate all the metals, put bushings in the throttle shafe if needed.

 

I really don’t care about it being pretty . I’ve had bad luck years ago rebuilding them
Kits not being very good snd issue with remans . No one around here has flow system to dial in and know good either . Might just go 4 bbl but new 500 avs2

 

I have a rebuilt rochester 2bbl off the 300. Never used after rebuild since I swapped to a 4bbl

 

How much and where are you located ?

Pulled a 4bbl intake going to put a 500 Cfm Edelbrock Avs2 . Cleaned it up and paint can I had was bad so I'm guessing next weekend now .
