 I wouldn't be so cruel if Joe didn't have a real GS on the way....maybe I'm just jealous! Is that Colo car an early build? The 65 GS came out in Dec 64-Jan 65. Word is the small emblem was used for about a month. Brian has an early build car, he would know. There was also one on eBay a few times.....red 4 speed, very rusty, and BBC powered. WV I believe. Poor thing, wonder what became of it...
Joe, how much will you pay? My GS is a 2nd week of Feb. build date car, built at the KC plant, with the small badge and bladed emblems on the sail panels. The later quarter emblems had 2 prongs for speed nuts. The first production GS's were built in the second week of Jan. What plant was the one your buying built at? Build date?Jon
Not sure of the date. I can't get the vin tag pic yet. I will have it in a week or 2. Jon are you saying you have one for sale? P.M. me and we'll talk.
i just put a bunch of stuff on ebay from a nailhead gs skylark that piece was one of them hhhgreg is my ebay name Greg look at all the stick pedal stuff from that one on there as well
Greg, I didn't see the small grille emblem in your list of auctions. I had one from a 4th week of Jan. KC car I parted out. Brian has it now. Mark
Joe, Mr. Brian Stone. It's probably on his car right now. I don't know if he'll part with his original one. I think there were issues with the studs broken off the back. The one I gave him had one partially broken off, but it was real usable. Hopefully he'll see this thread and chime in. Mark
Joe, I can make one for you out of cardboard, aluminum foil and my kids crayolas. Let me know. I'll start tonight.
Hey Greg, da'Wildcat dood! I "saw" and I sent you an ebay email about your setup. Get back to me OK? Wheelz, :bglasses: Tampa Bay
