We need a 1965 ST300 variable pitch transmission for a 401 engine immediately for the Reynolds Gran Sport.

I have one, out of a 65 Skylark Gran Sport that showed about 80k miles. $350.00 picked up. I am located in southern Ohio.

Yes and it's for a great cause with this re-creation of the Reynolds Car.

I would offer it up and just have him cover the shipping costs.

Not sure if BuckeyeBuicks is aware of this Reynolds project. Mostly everything has been donated and all labor is being done for free.

    Check it out BB.

Thanks 65, there is 60k in this car plus tons of donated parts from great Buick fans and a mountain of donated labor.

weeks for the Reynolds Buick 95th birthday open house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess we were thinking the same thing. :beers2:
If needed, I could throw in a few bucks towards the purchase and/or shipping to get this thing done. It wouldnt be a whole lot, but it would be something.:Do No:
I would love the chance to take some little part of the build of this car.

They are for the 300/340 BOP pattern I bet.
Too bad you can't use one of the ST400 trannies I have here! Only about 6 extras.

The ST400 has a long tail shaft and I am concerned about the fit.
    Thanks

Most (if not all) 65-66 ST400's used the short 4" tailshaft. But overall it is longer, so you'll have to move the crossmember back.
I can't believe Jimmy doesn't have any extra ST300s!:Do No:

So is the car in CA or are you coming from out of state? I live in CA and have one out of a 65 GS but it will need a rebuild. I could hook you up with my uncle who drove for KB back in the day, and hes could rebuild the trans for you. hes been doing it for 30 years. What day is the party at Reynolds??
