It will not work for your car.

If I was closer to you I'd buy it; but the shipping charges would probably be astronomical heading for Alberta. :(

I have a friend who is back and forth to Alberta every month. works in the oil patch, if that would work some how?

    Mel & Marc,
I am in the Hamilton area and have an account with FedEx freight.
If Mel can get it to me somehow I could crate it up and ship on my account with our business discount.
Marc if you PM me your address and if anyone knows the approximate weight and size? (or I can just measure the one on my car for dimensions) I can call FedEx for a quote.
You would just pay me my cost on shipping. No charge for the skid/crate.(nails are $10.00 each though http://www.v8buick.com/images/icons/icon10.png)
Let me know if this works for either one of you guys.

Went from 3:07 to 3:42 and the fun factor went up nearly as much as the fuel milage went down.

Too bad it won't fit my 64 Wildcat. Already have one on my 66.
Just bought another 66 cat convertible on Sunday so wasn't planning on anymore purchases right now.
Haven't even had time to check what the new acquisition has for a rear end.
My offer of shipping help still stands if anyone really wants this unit.
There is even a possibility I will be driving right by Mel's place soon to take my daughter on a University tour in Kingston Ontario.
Let me know. My business ships across Canada and the US all the time so not a big deal for me to do one more.

Dang...I'm going to see if I can make this work. Always wanted a 3:42. Is that CDN $ or US $? Big difference at 65 cents.
How well would it do in a 67 Wildcat 430? Or does it work better with a nailhead? The Electra already has a 3:07 posi and I'd like to keep that one highway.

Just let me know if you want to go ahead with this Marc.
I will let you know if my plans to go past there become firm.
My daughter is deciding where she wants to go to University and Kingston is on the possibility list.
I hope it's Canadian dollars but I think it's usually USD numbers on here.
If you want to talk details PM your phone number and I will call you.

I hope you guys can make this work. It would be nice to see that axle go to another Board Member ... that 430would be noticeably quicker.

Ok; - I'm not going to rush into this, I just came off of a big coin show and I'm a bit tapped for disposable cash for a couple of weeks. But I think I do want it, I'll PM you when I make some arrangements, gotta find a place to put it before it ends up as a lawn ornament over winter.

Things did not work out on the storage front, I have absolutely no place to put something this size, so I'm going to have to pass and give this a bump back up. If it's still around in the spring, I'll look into it again.

    :ball:

No problem Marc it will probably be here in the spring have to put it in the shed before snow.
    Thanks Mel
