Scott, How wide is the seat? I need the wider one, about 60". Are there any broken springs? Lastly, would you be willing to ship thru Greyhound? Station nearest me is Pasco, WA.

    Thanks,

I won't be home to measure it until the 26th, but thought there were only 2 choices for rear seats. (Hard top or convertible) i have a hard top and it fit just fine. how does the greyhound thing work? Lastly, I didn't see any broken springs but have to assume there is plenty of wear after 40+ years.

The 2dr post cars back seat is wider than a 2 dr hardtop. It won't fit in my post car.

Post car is wider because it doesn't have the arm rest. Just the rear door panel. I have a 66 post car. I'd have to pull out the seat and see what it looks like. Do you need just the springs or pad, cover and all?

    Scott,
Greyhound ships item just like any other carrier. Has to meet size and weight restrictions. But the prices are way better than the majors. You must figure out if there is a shipping terminal in your area. Not all bus stations are shipping terminals. I had a 66 skylark trunk lid shipped from California to South Louisiana for $64. Your items get put with luggage, so space must be available or package will be held until room is available. Trunk lid took 3 days to get here. I'm getting ready to attemp a full 66 skylark quarter panel shipment. It's close to the max length but I'm going to see if they will take it. Shipping calculator says $110 for it.

To ship I use Busfrieghter.com and they get you a good price you print the shipping label and take it to the station near you. The box must not be more than 72x42x36 or something like that and weigh 100 lbs or less I just shipped 2 front fenders to PA from California for 75 bucks each. prices went up since I sent the trunk lid!

Hey 65 buick let me do some research on shipping via bus freighter as I've never used them. Will be back home on Friday to take measurements and get weights. I will also check greyhound. What city does that zip code correspond to?
