MRJDBUICK, just to be sure you understand, this is not the Poster's car. Curtis is not on this board. Steve simply posted a lead to a car on Seattle Craigslist and copied the text here along with the link.

This car was for sale a few months ago, and I am pretty sure "glen roberts" from the board looked at it and passed on it. Can't recall how much Curtis was asking then, but you may want to contact glen for an honest description of the car. I remember it as being real rusty.

It's funny, I wondered if that would happen when I posted it. I figured that it would be seen that this was in the "leads" category and it wouldn't be an issue.

Now the question is if MRJDBUICK will see this before he calls Sunday and says, "I saw your ad on v8buick.com and am calling on your GS..."?

How about a straight-up trade for that 69. Since it doesn't have the original wheels and appears to be lowered, make it two cases!:bglasses:

Nope, that was just a one-day visit. Mine's been sitting next to my house since the end of that day.

I will do my best to describe the car, first of all I will tell you that most of the time I will buy just about anything that says buick on it.but this car was realy rusty It looked like they had just pulled it out of lake washington. the whole trunk area where the the lid latches was completly gone there was a hole in the top of the passenger quarter panel about the size of a soft ball maybe bigger. curtis the owner told me the floors were real solid They are not solid at all I could poke thru them with my finger. I offered the guy I beleive 2000.00 for the car and I was scared he might accept I wasnt sure I could get it on the tailer without it falling apart. Glen

  13. the 4 speed conversion parts along with the rear axle( 3.36 ratio) and other misc small parts make the car worth 2 grand if it's complete. if i was in the area i'd buy it simply for those parts

You are probably right, however most of parts were real rusty cores at best
