Very rare Buick, in fact that's the 1st Spector I've seen!

He lists it as both a 1967 and a 1969. I think I see a '69 Spector front bumper, maybe that's leading to the confusion? :Do No:

I'm going to guess the title is missing.
They don't know what year or model it is.....I'm surprised they know it's a Buick, must say it on the car somewhere.

It's fake... real Spectors were all small blocks.

My buddy had a Spector in high school. Ran 11's, would outrun Hemi's and Thunderbolts with 4 people in the car, would burn out in all 4 gears and would shift into second at about 100.

    "It was recently a project."

Somehow I don't think this enhanced its value!

    meteo7880 Getting expensive...

My dad used to have a spector, it was a 68 with a factory supercharged 264 in front of a dynaflow. 2.56 rear gear, that's why you could shift into second at 100. Ran low 11's :puzzled: :TU:

Well that's cause they were underrated from the factory. They were really like 600 HP at the wheels, because they all came with 3/4 cams.

    Named for Ronnie Spector?

Option L-75! Usually seen only with the X Spector 8.

If this were a real L-75 Spector, there'd be people calling from all over the country about it.

This is clearly the lesser 4 x 2 barrels atop a triple crossed, ram inducted, low-riser, cool running, dual plane, spread bore, blueprinted, high torquer aluminum intake manifold.

You had to know somebody at the factory to get one....super secret special order.

If this is really the rare X Spector 8, it's a spittin' image of the one my dentist's brother's best friend's ex wife's new boyfriend's cousin's half sister's lesbian lover never had, but almost bought.

It's not a X Spector 8. Carfax shows that none exist anymore.

Probably a clone, started out life as a plain small block Apparition.

Well, those are Apparition wheels, to be sure.

Spectors NEVER came with left hand thread lug nuts. At least not those produced in North America. And note the misplacement of the thin green stripe.

A specter means a ghostly apparition, a ghost itself, or simply an idea that people find frightening. You can give yourself nightmares if you listen to too many stories about ghostly specters appearing in dark windows.

Looks pretty frightening to me!!

So a specter could have a negative effect on your sphincter?............or maybe some would consider a positive.
