Today I picked up my 67 GS 400 post car-1 of only 730 autm. (FRESH from PAINT) from my good friend -Original color -Burgandy Mist,#s matching motor, tranny and posi. -A.C. car.I picked this car up the 1 st. year I ever attended the Nationals in Bowling Green ,Ky. along with this Ivory Mist GS 400 #s matching,A.C. car- that just completed paint also recently.Paint job on both are 10 out of 10 paint jobs(can not find a flaw anywhere on either car)These cars were about 3 miles from the track and the guy was gonna part them out:puzzled: .My good friend Mike Rippenbark paints my cars for me (this is the 4th.)and his work is incredible!!!!:eek2: The post car did come along way -new trunk pan, fenders, trunk lid, hood ect..(many parts I had shipped from out West from v8 members)THANK YOU. I saw this car in person today! it is awesome! Mike brought the ivory mist car over when it was done and it is equally awesome. Mike, do you have any before pictures? Cause that would tell the story too!:3gears:

Look at the camera flash spot in the last photo. Nice! That's one nice paint job (and underlying body work)!

Yes Marvin was at the track that day and he told me about them.I got in my car burning rubber :3gears: to get over there .I have a LONG LONG way to catch Jimmy (his are all done)But I retire in 4 years (maybe I can catch up) :Do No: I have about 8 more 67 GS that need restored but those are not as rough as the ones I have all ready done. They are from Cali.,Nev,ect... I do have a Black on Black 4-speed HT project (just like the one in Hemmings muscle car magazine).I may be doing SOME liquidating and complete the 5 ongoing projects :Smarty: Working on these cars lately has helped me deal with some tough personal times  Yes the Paint work on the cars look great-thank you. but I give all credit to Mike Rippenbark He takes such pride in his work.I tried to have him put a cheap paint job on my 67 GS conv. driver but he said he could not do 1/2 -ss work.So I had a getto paint job done (and it shows). That car is fun 430(low mileage) BBB 400 tranny with 336 posi. :3gears:

still makes me wonder what ever happened to my 67 GS clone, I sold it in 94 before going to Korea and then saw it on ebay around 2002-2003, emailed the seller and the buyer but never heard from either
