In the process of installing new door and quarter glass in my ‘67 convertible.
Old glass is out - new glass is in.
Now, how do I adjust this stuff???

The biggest issue is the quarter glass doesn’t go back far enough to go into the rubber molding around the opening at the back.

it also seems to be so far forward that the very front bottom of the chrome edge seal strip is visible.

I have been messing with this for days and not getting close!

I can post or send pictures and video if you think it will help.

    Thoughts and suggestions please.

    Thanks in advance.

    Duke

Any slotted hole is an adjustment, look for those.

I put the glass back into my 66 hardtop last year, it took some aggravation to get it right!
Here's a YouTube vid I had bookmarked. There are likely more on the subject.

Quick Buick and Chi-Town67 like this.

Yup saw that one and it helps some.
Convertible is different though. Nothing on YouTube about them.

Yes slots are adjustment points but may have to enlarge some to get glass to go back far enough.

    Hi Duke,
I'm sure you already know this, but I thought it might be worth mentioning. The vertical and hardtop rear qtr glass is different. Assuming you have the correct glass, did you compare the old and new ones side by side to make sure the tracks are installed identically?
I git all the glass as well as the top frame on my car and I feel your pain. It took about 3 or 4 weeks fo moving stuff around to get all the moving pieces to get along with each other.

    Yes everything is correct.

    It is slowly getting better.

Move 1 thing slightly and it screws 12 others up!

Thanks for the the encouragement Ziggy
In to it about 1 1/2 weeks at this point so only 2 1/2 to go !!!
