Hi Bill; I'm definitely interested in that trunk section, mine is disappearing more and more each day. I just have to get the funds together and figure out how to get it down here, no small task. If you get a chance to sell it go ahead, you worked our butt off on this and I don't want to hold you back. Hopefully I'll be able to pull the trigger soon, I'll get back to you when I can move on it and hope it's still there.
I'll hold it for you, if you're interested in the whole thing, or if you decide to have me cut it up smaller. I haven't had anyone else express any interest in it.
I don't have any of the rear 1/4s they were pretty rotted. I do have a passenger side front fender (both inner and outer). I should be able to cut the spot between the taillights out, can you photoshop a picture to show me exaclty what you want? Vonwolf wants the trunk lock support, I don't think he needed anything else on that rear part I kept (unless you do, let me know) As soon as I get my sawzall back from my parents I'll cut some stuff up. Also I'll throw out there I can deliver some of the larger parts (Seats, bumpers) for a little bit extra if you're not too far away or want to meet me somewhere.
Bill, Don't kick yourself too hard. It's hard enough to sell a solid one due to the size and limited need let alone a rusty one!
it's more of a soft tap. :spank: I'm not even sure how close the 66/67 are on that, I know the head lights and grill attach in different ways. o No:
bump for clearing out my garage for fall Sale. I think I've replied to everyone on here about parts in question, I appologize if i haven't! this being my 1st parting of a car I was a little over whelemed and short of free time. Couple things I know I still have: 67 front vent windows, chrome is ok some scratching, glass is factory tinted, took these out of the doors as a one piece so everything is there. Might fit 2-dr and wagons, and possibly other years as well. $30 a side or $50 for the pair Jack spring clips and jack bracket, these are spot welded to the floor of the trunk section I kept. I'll cut them off if anyone is interested. this is a 3 piece set of two hook shaped parts that hold the jack spring, and the braket that catches the jack itself. $40 4-dr post car tinted door glass, all 4 pieces. I can't remember if we knocked the metal bits off them or not. I'm pretty sure this will only fit a 4-dr post car, i think the rear windows on a wagon are slightly longer? $40 for the whole set. lots of other little odds and ends. The more you buy the better the discount!
Hi Bill - This is stupid only because I lost them....I need all the screws/bolts that hold the glove box liner in. Can you help me out? - Bill
let me check, I'm hoping I put them in a bag labeled as such, though it's much more likely they ended up in a pile of bolts ou: I've got a couple other parts I need to pull out and ship, so it may be a couple days if you're not in a hurry.
Not in a hurry at all - its been out for a year! I keep hoing they will turn up.... :ball: Thanks - Bill
Bill; I can use that whole back section you cut off, do you have any idea how to get it down here to Florida, 33912?
Oh boy did I have a day Sunday with Greyhound. Drove from out from Oswego to the Chicago one (Harrision St, there are a couple parking spots right next to it, if you're lucky, if anyone goes in the future) with a buddy to drive/circle around while I dropped the fender off. Knocked on the door, it's locked no signs or anything saying they are closed. Glance at thier open times, I'm well within the time frame. I wait a couple more minutes, I have thier phone# so I call. Just rings, and rings, and rings no answer, or machine for that matter. Finally A lady exits from the building and I run over, she explains they closed for the day due to the supervisor having a heart attack. No problem, I'll just go over to the passenger side, no can't do that she says whole building is closed. uzzled: Look up the next closest Greyhound Freight location in Markham, should still be open. Call them up no answer there either, or machine. decide to cut my losses I'm not driving all over Chicagoland, and head home. 100 miles round trip. So that was my lovely 1st experience with Greyhound. And now I know first hand why people are reluctant to ship anything big!
how does the drivers side front fender look ? i need the piece behind the bumper from the bottom of fender to the wheelwell to about 4 inchs above bumper. need to use as patch panel. thanks
sorry, front fenders were all rotted out and were scrapped in June. Currently, the only sheet metal I have is a passenger's side inner fender/wheel well.
