Does anyone have any lines on any quarter skins for a 68 or 69 skylark/gs? I heard they stopped making them. Is this true?

We have been over this before, but here is the link to Tabco.
Not sure of the requirements of coupe compared to convertible.

Ted, sorry if "we have been through this before", but I didn't see any info or threads about them and I am just trying to find them. Thanks for the link, hope it wasn't too much work......

If you find out what the "asterisk" means beside the 68-69 quarter Pannel means please let me know. I'm trying to help a friend who needs the skins. I could not find a reference for it. Thanks

I called Tabco and these are $329.75 ea and the guy told me it is around $80 to ship these weather you ship 2 or 4. He told me that the asterik means has to be shipped truck freight. He told me about these and they make them theirselves with their own dies. They are not taiwanese. It sounds like to me that these are the closest thing to a full quarter panel we might see for the 68 or 69 skylark gs cars for a long time. He also said these are made out of 20 gauge metal as the factory used and these have the galvanized coating like the newer body panels have.

Sorry to be curt - thats me at 5:53 in the morning w/out sleep. :puzzled: Check out my other posts, I am usually full of humor (or something) and good nature.
I did purchase a pair of these, the only thing I would add is that the rear light opening is the rectangle for the 69, for a 68 that has to be reworked.

    Peace!
    Ted

No problem, and again thanks for the info. Would it be better off to purchase the ones from sherman then?
