The chrome cover can be hard to find in good shape. The Parts Place sells a repro that closer than some of the other vendors but it's not perfect.
Thanks for the Info i will check it out i have a 1968 gs california do you know if 350 - 4 sticker is correct on the cover Thanks again
I have a used chrome cover.. I bought recently. Needs a good polishing, some pits in it. I think it has a stage1 sticker on it. But that can be removed. I paid $20 plus shipping, and would like to get $20 plus shipping. Can post pix if you're interested. I planned to use it on a 455 swap into my GS, but my 350 is running so good right now Im going back and forth over actually doing the swap...
I'm not sure. My 69 GS California had the GS-350 decal on the ram air part of the air cleaner, but the 68's were different. I'm sure one of the other 68 owners will answer that.
Thank you for the offer i appreciate it But i am really looking for one in really nice shape with the sticker Thank you again i will keep it in mind if i cant find one i could possibly rechrome yours
Thanks i was told by a friend who doesnt know much that it came with a chrome lid cover and a 350-4 sticker on it Could you explain a rocker cover I am as dumb as a brick and have no idea what that is this is a new hobby i picked up and i have no mechanical experience Thanks sorry for being stupid
Thank you that is a big help so im not searching for the wrong item Can you tell me if it did come with a chrome cover ? without a sticker
Yes it did as you can see from your reproduction window sticker under option W1  :TU: :beers2: No sticker on the lid :beers2:
You can see the drivers side valve cover here. There is the oil fill cap and crankcase(engine) breather with a small black hose going to it.
Thanks a ton for posting a photo. Is that the cover i need ? Also is it a regular sticker that would go there or more of a metal plate that says 350
