This a really nice skylark / gs grill , all the mounting tabs are in tack and there is very little warpage across the top $500 pick in atlanta ga
Rob, I recently sold and shipped my '68 grille, and I was worried about it being damaged in transit--I HOPE I packed the thing up for safe shipment, but you can never be sure. If you don't mind saying, what's the story behind the damage? How was the grille packed up? What was the nature of the damage? Thanks. Jeff
Hi Jeff, Whoever packed this grill did a really creative job. If they would have put more bubble wrap on the ends of this grill it would have shown up perfect. In not doing so, the grill slid back n forth allowing the mounting tabs to contact the cardboard box, and thats where the problem is. It broke off a tab into 2 pieces and also center cracked this grill. It even blew the paint off the end of it. FWIW this grill was made in USA and the other grills I have are made in Canada. The USA grill feels heavier and less flexible. Kenny is a trustworthy guy And I hope we can do biz again:TU:
