Can anyone help me find parts for my 68 cutlass convertible. I need the cowl grill, wing window weatherstripping and the correct overflow bottle/windshield washer bottle. I have looked at all of the normal resto places. Someone sugggested that the v8 buick models use the same parts...Help?
I found www.thepartsplaceinc.com and emailed them..their catalog doesn't show the items I need but, what the hey, it won't hurt to ask them...thanks for the info
Cowl grill--On Buick it is just screen, don't know about Olds. Vent (wing) window weatherstripping will be the same for all 68 GM A-bodies. If they don't make it for Chevy, you are SOL. Buick had no factory overflow in 68, I wouldn't imagine Olds didn't either. There was an over-the-counter dealer installed overflow. Parts Place makes a washer bottle for Buick, but it is probably not the same for Olds, don't know for sure.
