Anyone going to Rhinebeck Good Guys show, this 1968 will be in the car corral for inspection. :beers2: There will also have a 1984 Riviera with only 35,000 original miles on it :TU:

Looks like a nice car but maybe you might be better off listing it with a reserve and a low starting price....I think you would have a better shot at getting interest in it.Then maybe if it does not reach your reserve you can atleast have a list of potential buyers at a little lower price if your willing to take it.Just some advice on experience that came from watching cars on Evilbay for a while.Just an outright buy it now seldom works unless its a absolute steal at like half market value.........Good luck getting it sold.....

Bruce, not one offer or email on the car. Took it to Rhinebeck this weekend and so far the same deal. No one has made an offer and it's a great looking and running car. This picture was taken today and one can see the nice color.

Very nice car but it make take a while to get $16k.
I'm no expert, but last year on this forum there was a spectacular 68 navy blue and as nice as this one is, it was nicer. I think it finally sold for around
$13k. Others may remember that one it was on the west coast somewhere.
Just my 2 cents and like I said I'm no expert by a long shot.
To get one to this condition would take more money than that for sure but it's not a GS or a Chevelle!:Do No:

You are correct in the fact that it's not a GS or Chevelle, bu tif it was a GS I would be asking for 25-32k, as for it being a Chevelle at least 36k as we recently sold one for that price.

I know the car and Roger, and yes it was nicer, was a GS, had 4 wheel disc brakes, etc., and sold for less. $16k is a lot for a 68 Skylark, the market is not there yet. I don't know that I have seen any 68 GS 350's sell for $16k, but I am not as current on the marketplace as others who buy and sell for a living.

I will also add that I have seen a lot of cars not this nice with higher
asking prices too. The blue one that sold on this forum was a real
    bargain.
