I am looking for window felts for my 1968 Skylark GS convertable. I had got some from OPG and they were wrong. Anyone know where I could get some that will fit?

I don't know of any available that are "right". Someone tried to make them several years ago and it just never got done for the 68's, as I recall.

That seems to be the same for every 68 part. I spend more time looking for parts than working on the car. :Do No:

I have a set of 68 window felt made by RE-POPS (?) It has the fuzzier fuzzy and the round bead and seem to be more like the original. They also have the clips installed. I know it sounds odd, If I get a chance, I will try and take some pics when I get home tomorrow since I have a set of the replacement style w/the flat bead if you need to see the difference.

CARS has a direct fit pre cut complete window felt kit, that is made for a 68 A body convertible. Should be perfect for you.

Bob my friend had used ones from the parts place for a 68 hardtop and they look very good. Only installed the outer one and they are the round ones. The box is from PUI. As I remember the part place listed two and this was the OEM one. The number on the box is OWFLT Skylark 68 CPE #O246-1. Thanks Bill.

By the way, I looked at your web site. Way cool! I will be ordering from you soo. I just need to find out where my car was sold. I will talk to the original owner. He still has all of his paperwork I can look at.

They fit well. Only a little fitting needed. They look nice.
