My motivation for this build was the car I had in high school pictured here. Not the exact same car. The second picture is the car I bought two years ago as the donor body for the resto mod.

Wow, very nice inside and out! Is that an LS variation in it? I really like the way the interior looks, with the gauges and all. Where did you end up venting the AC in the center?
It’s an LS3 disguised to look original. We replaced the intake with a tower intake mated to the original air filter housing and aligned to the hood scoops. Coils are mounted down on the frame and we put original GM stickers for the GS 400 on the intake and valve covers. I was at a car show recently and many people did a double take. The EFI rails kind of give it away when you look close.
