This is the numbers I have from Mike Troms "book":Conv from Flint w/4-speed 194 cars. Total w/4-speed 290 cars Paint from Flint 114 cars and total 162 cars. Beautiful car!
Hi Thanks for the #'s Chatarina. So in 1969 from Flint this GS with 4 speed conv with antique gold paint there were 162 cars built?? Am I reading that correct?
The way I read it it there were 194 Flint 400-4sp. convertibles and 114 antique gold GSs (or maybe GS Convertibles - auto & manual) from Flint. There is no breakdown afaik of color by transmission but on a Venn Diagram your car (beautiful, btw) would be in the overlap of tbose two categories and if you look at the percentages, there'd have maybe a been handful of antique gold 400-4-sp. convertibles (5-10?).
Dave, the book don`t combine your color and the 4-speed,sorry. 1969 GS400 Convertible with 4-speed from Flint= 194 cars Wilmington= 88 Fremont=8 Total=290 Antique Gold Flint= 114 Wilmington= 37 Fremont= 11 Total=162 Vinyl Bench is Parchment Vinyl Bucket is Pearl White= Your car,418 cars got it from Flint and from all plants=578 Maybe Mike Trom here on V8Buick can dig further about the color and the 4-speed.
