Not just the 69's, really all of Gran Sports from the 60's aren't recognized, I think it is primarily becuase of the engine size. Remember the 455 was "IT" in 1970, a ground pounding, stump pulling torque monster and Buick played that up. In 65 - 69 it was "only" a 400. :af:
