OK, I am trying to wire in an electric oil pressure gauge into my GS California. I have the dash out and am looking for a diagram for the interior circuits. I figured out that the lighter is the 2 orange wires, but have a double pink wire that is not attached to anything. Based off the wire color, pink, this should be a 12v source to something. I've looked at the old post here on the site and also at the opig website and can't determine what in the world this might go to?

If this is a source wire for some option I don't have I could repurpose to this gauge. (Installed in the clock blank position). Entire harness was replaced with a new YR1 parts around 2010. So "newer than the car" before we go down the rabbit hold on 60 yr old wires. Has even newer engine management harness, forward lighting harness).

My Chassis manual no longer has the diagrams in it (dang).

    Thanks,

    Jimmy

Max Damage I'm working on it!

I think there is a spare +12 in the fuse box, which is a male spade connector. This is just from memory.

All you need is an ignition on 12 volts. Easy enough to test with a test light or voltmeter.
