Having the correct part is a good start if you mean the rubber bits that go inside the front bumper ends.
I had trouble with the re-pop ones as well. I may have also used some sand paper on the spacers as well as used liquid soap. Good Luck!
I used boiling water, soapy water, Vaseline, nothing worked. I ended up cutting a slit on one side then using a flat screwdriver forcing the ends through to the other side. It should hold, it’s pretty tight. Thanks for
