The styles changed between '70 & '71. They are different styles. The '70 & earlier switches had rounded corners and the '71 & later had squared corners.

 

So does it fit 71 and 72 or 71-77. I think I have the round one also. Thanks Randy

 

That is the 71 and up switch. Not sure when the upper year cut-off was.

It will work for '70 - '72, but the squared corner switches are correct for '71 & later vehicles (up into the 80's, I believe).
