I have decided I am not a spoiler guy. This has no threaded holes and has some scuffs and such from laying in the rear seat of the 72 GS455 beater. No brackets, no hardware. Lines up well with the coupe quarters. I would of course prefer local pickup but I will ship. $140 plus actual shipping.

I would trade for a 70-72 console shifter or stuff on my Sportwagon list.

Interested and in line pending more info.

Is it one of the flat-ish ones or does it have the subtle bow like a good reproduction?

The first, burgundy one is what I call flat-ish. It doesn't follow the line of the lower rear window. The red car is the bowed one. It has a subtle arch.

That is why I love this board! I had no idea about the curve. It sure looks like there is a subtle curve in it but I can't really get a straight on shot with it sitting on the trunk lid. Added a couple of photos. Let me say again that It has scratches, scuffs and has suffered from poor storage. The same guy who owned the rusty GS455 treated the spoiler in the same manner. I just want to get it to someone who might use it since I will absolutely not use it. I have no idea what to price it at but I want to get something out of it for boxing it up. I would rather underpromise and over deliver!

After I moved it 4 times today I am proud that I did not cut it in half with the sawzall and throw it in the can.

Very good. One last question: What does it weigh?

I don't know yet. I found a box big enough to ship it but have not had a chance to weigh it. I was playing with Sportwagon parts. I would trade it even up for a 70-72 console floor shifter. I would pay shipping on the spoiler.

I will get a weight tomorrow sometime for you.

Actually, I was wanting the raw weight of the spoiler. That gives me one more clue as to the kind it is. I'm not in a huge hurry so don't break your back trying to accommodate my request.

No worries - it is leaving here one way or another and I will need to get a weight anyway!

While you are at it, can you figure out what shipping to 42104 would be? However you think it will best survive the trip, be it UPS, Fastenal or Greyhound bus.

Any luck getting a weight and/or a shipping quote to 42104?

Fastenal has suspended shipping because of the virus.

I've had good success with FedEx for large packages.

The spoiler itself weighs roughly 14lbs, 10 ounces. Have not had the opportunity to box it. Shipping large stuff like this is always a crapshoot. FedEx is the best option but I hate all of them. Unless I crate it which greatly increases the weight. I tried to give away some door panels last year. Cheapest shipping was Fedex at $83.00. I kept the trim and metal pieces and threw the rest away. If the weight of the spoiler tells you anything let me know and I will box it.

Not sure how reliable Greyhound is in the US but I had a 72 Skylark front bumper shipped cross country for less than $100 CAD last year. Did not weigh it but it must be a LOT more than 15 lbs and definitely larger. Lighter, smaller package would have cost a fraction. Is that not a viable and likely cheaper option for you?

40 minutes away and 8 bucks to park. I shipped a core support with greyhound and it went well. It is an option except I would have to take a half day off from my "essential" business to do it. FedEx at least picks up at my place of work.

It always seems like we have less options for shipping the big stuff!

That's what I was looking for. If it could be shipped for $200, I'd take a chance on it. I'm not sure what FedEx will cost for that though.
